CEP wanted a website that reflected the program itself—research-driven, high-quality, and outcomes-oriented—along with a user-friendly and intuitive interface.
Graphicacy led an extensive discovery and data consultation process, after which they proposed migrating CEP’s site from WordPress to Drupal for greater flexibility and simplified content management.
Drupal allowed Graphicacy to integrate a Content Management System (CMS) that fits CEP’s needs while affording opportunities for a page-builder approach, giving CEP options to mix-and-match different components across a page—from carousels to grid displays, videos, and more. To familiarize CEP staff with posting and updating content, Graphicacy conducted numerous Drupal training sessions.
On the assessment front, approximately three times a year, the CEP team sends its College Practice Assessments to a cohort of 25 to 40 colleges participating in their programs. The original included 13 qualitative surveys administered using SurveyMonkey. College leaders would give selected surveys to as many as 10 staff members to candidly assess their institution’s capabilities and performance across multiple areas of student success and leadership.
Each assessment cohort triggered an extremely labor-intensive process for CEP: Staff members would spend weeks sending surveys, reviewing responses, and manually compiling data into Word documents or Excel reports for every institution.
Graphicacy developed a platform for assessment management and automation that funneled the entire survey workflow through an admin interface on the new website. The new platform allows CEP to scale their work, potentially creating larger and more frequent cohorts with minimal effort.
